An expert certified by both the Association of Image Consultants International (AICI) and the International Institute of Image Communications, firm founder Shauna Mackenzie Heathman works with people of all ages to help shape the impressions they engender in others. She specializes in the creation of personal brands for both men and women.

Shauna is the first and only image consultant in South Carolina to attain certification through the AICI. Formal training by leading professionals and the founders of the London Image Institute and New York Image Resource Center in strategic image specialities combined with years of experience in public speaking and communications has given Shauna a rich knowledge base and skill set with which to help her clients.

She has spoken to groups ranging from the American Business Women’s Association (Jessamine Chapter) to the Charleston Center for Women, The Citadel, the Medical University of South Carolina and the Art Institute of Charleston. She is actively involved with ABWA, sits on the Board of Directors for the Center for Women, and serves on the Young Executive Board at Charleston's Harbour Club. She is a frequent contributor to the monthly e-publication Small Business Charleston on the subject of image management. Shauna is also a leader within her career field, serving as President for AICI - Atlanta Chapter. As chapter President, she oversees education, membership and camaraderie for all AICI image consultants residing in South Carolina, North Carolina, Georgia, Kentucky and Tennessee.

In 2009, Shauna founded and organized the annual charitable event, King Street Shop Walk. Working with local businesses, Shauna’s event encouraged the community to support local retailers while also celebrating one of Charleston's most historic areas. Proceeds benefited the Center for Women.

Mackenzie Image Consulting was founded in 2007. Shauna holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in communication studies from the University of Iowa and an entrepreneurship certificate from the Tippie College of Business. A native Minnesotan, Shauna moved to Charleston, South Carolina in 2006, where she enjoys a much warmer climate.
